I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a bit noisy with windows open as we were above the terrace restaurant, but it quieted down by 10:30 or 11:00 pm. The view of the hills with the local garden and greenhouses was cute. The reception area was lovely.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had very poor lighting but made up for it with exceptional breakfast and welcoming owners. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster with some nice surprises but also encounters with unfriendly and uncourteous staff. The location was great with easy access to Thun city and a beautiful view, yet a bit too close to the lake for comfort.
